
Hensel Phelps announced an executive leadership transition and several senior leadership promotions, effective January 1, 2026, reinforcing the company’s long-term strategy and commitment to leadership continuity.
Mike Choutka Appointed Chairman of the Board

After more than 30 years with Hensel Phelps, Mike Choutka has transitioned from his role as Chief Executive Officer to serve as Chairman of the Board. Choutka, who has served as CEO since 2019, joined the company in 1991 and advanced through project and executive leadership roles, helping shape the company’s strategic direction and long-term success.
Brad Jeanneret Assumes Role of President and CEO

As Choutka transitions into the Chairman role, Brad Jeanneret, formerly President and Chief Operating Officer, has assumed the role of President and CEO, overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations and the execution of strategic priorities. Executive Promotions
In addition to Jeanneret’s appointment, Hensel Phelps announced the following executive promotions, also effective January 1, 2026:

Steve Grauer has been promoted to Executive Vice President, overseeing the Southwest Region, Services and Mission Critical Integrated Solutions after serving as Regional Vice President of the Southwest Region since 2008.

Cole Weaver has been promoted to Regional Vice President of the Southwest Region, following a 19-year career marked by progressive leadership roles, most recently as Director of Operations for the Southwest Region.
