Hensel Phelps Board of Directors Key Personnel Announcement

The Hensel Phelps Board of Directors announces three senior promotions and a retirement.

Brad D. Winans, LEED AP BD+C, has been promoted to the Southwest District Manager, Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors.   After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin’s Architectural Engineering program in 1992, Brad began his career with Hensel Phelps and rose through the ranks to become Manager of Work Procurement before being appointed the Southwest District Manager and Vice President.  Brad brings extensive experience with a variety of clients, including Samsung, DART, Lockheed, Corps of Engineers and the City of Austin.  He has been assigned to 38 projects in his Hensel Phelps career with a combined contract value approaching $2 billion. Brad has recently returned from the Southeast District in Orlando, Florida and will be based at the Southwest District Office in Austin, Texas.

Kable D. Oldham, LEED AP, has been promoted to General Superintendent. Kable graduated from Texas A&M University and began his career with Hensel Phelps in 1996.  He rose through the ranks from Office Engineer to Project Engineer, Area Superintendent to Project Superintendent before being appointed General Superintendent. Kable has worked on a variety of projects with the Southwest District before joining the Western District and brings extensive experience with a variety of clients, including the Corps of Engineers, University of Texas and multiple national laboratories.  Kable has been assigned to 13 projects in his Hensel Phelps career with a combined contract value exceeding $700 million.  Kable will have construction oversight and responsibility for multiple construction projects in the Western District, based in Phoenix, Arizona.

Jeremiah N. (Jerry) Shupe, CSP, CHST had been promoted to the Corporate Director of Safety and Health.   Jerry graduated from Montana Tech with his B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health in 2002.  He began his career as a safety engineer and has worked in both the Northern and Southern California Districts.  Most recently Jerry held the position of District Director of Safety and Health in the Northern California District.  Jerry brings an extensive depth of experience from both the private and public sectors projects while working in California.  Jerry has relocated to Colorado which will serve as his home base in order to perform his new role.

Thomas D. Fisher, after 29 years of dedicated service to the Company, has retired after a long and successful career in both the Northern California and Southwest Districts, and most recently in the role of Southwest District Manager and Vice President.
