Repair Wastewater Treatment Plant Effluent Pump Station Building 1357

The Repair Wastewater Treatment Plant Effluent Pump Station Building 1357 project received the Award of Excellence in the Specialty Construction: $3 Million and Above category.

Located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, the $19.9 million project modernized critical wastewater infrastructure serving up to 40,000 people. Hensel Phelps completed the upgrade four months ahead of schedule while maintaining uninterrupted wastewater operations throughout construction. New high-efficiency pumps and modern controls enhanced the facility’s reliability, safety and environmental compliance.

24-Inch Water Transmission Line Replacement

The Glen/Mar-Hensel Phelps Joint Venture received the Award of Excellence in the Utility Infrastructure Construction category for replacing the 24-inch water transmission line from Hospital Point to Hickam.

Throughout construction, the team maintained water service to mission-critical facilities while navigating contaminated groundwater, unknown utilities and complex shutdown requirements. Careful planning and coordination allowed the project to advance while protecting the continuity of essential operations.

Aircraft Maintenance Hangar

The Aircraft Maintenance Hangar received the Award of Excellence in the Federal Construction category.

The 88,030-square-foot, three-story facility was designed to support aircraft maintenance and mission readiness. Its high-bay space accommodates six Black Hawk helicopters and two 10-ton bridge cranes, complemented by repair shops, storage areas, offices and additional mission-support spaces.

Four Seasons Osteria Mozza Lanai and Front Entry Renovations

The Four Seasons Osteria Mozza Lanai and Front Entry Renovations project received the Award of Excellence in the Renovation/Remodeling: Under $10 Million category.

Completed while maintaining uninterrupted resort operations, the project transformed key arrival and dining spaces at Four Seasons Resort Lanai. Enhancements included a central mozzarella bar, wood-burning grill, pizza oven, flexible indoor-outdoor dining areas and a new water feature.
