
Clif Fesler
Regional Vice President, Mid South
James C. (Clif) Fesler III, DBIA, LEED AP, joined Hensel Phelps in 1999 and is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Building Construction. He currently serves as Regional Vice President of the Mid South Region, where he oversees operations across Tennessee and the surrounding areas, providing leadership, direction and strategic growth for the region.
Clif began his career with Hensel Phelps as an Office Engineer and has progressed through the roles of Project Engineer, Area Superintendent, Project Superintendent, Project Manager, Operations Manager and General Manager before being appointed Regional Vice President of the Mid South Region, which he helped establish in 2026.
Throughout his career, Clif has supported projects across the country, including work in the Mid Atlantic and Southeast Regions. He has contributed to more than $6 billion in projects across a wide range of markets in both the public and private sectors. Notable projects include the Pentagon Renovation (Wedges 2–5) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Building 245 Modernization.
Clif is actively involved in community and industry initiatives, supporting the ACE Mentor Program of America as a volunteer and mentor. He also serves on the board of Tucker’s House and is a Partnership 2030 member with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Clif and his wife, Emily, have two daughters and enjoy spending time outdoors, particularly boating and participating in water sports.
