The Hensel Phelps Mid Atlantic District has been awarded the $132 Million, 335,000 SF design-build Andrews Federal Bus Garage by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). This will be Hensel Phelps’ 4th project with WMATA in the past 8 years. Hensel Phelps has teamed with several industry partners to compose the most capable design team including: SYSTRA Consulting, Timmons Group, Langan Engineering & Environmental, Smislova, Kehnemui & Associates (SK&A), Shapiro & Duncan, Mona Electric Group, PFP Engineering & Design, and Iron Horse Architects.
