About the Project
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) Research Laboratory at NASA Ames is a 47,000 square foot, two-story research facility. The building houses approximately 80 laboratories that support scientific research. Specialized lab spaces include a magnetic shield room, geophysics laboratory with a 10-ton crane and rock processing laboratories. Additional spaces include cold storage rooms, clean rooms and an autoclave room. Several laboratories feature gas monitoring and chilled water systems.
