Sustainability Partners Program

About the Project

Sustainability Partners contracted Hensel Phelps to deliver a statewide program in Hawaii under a multi-site task order contract. The work includes infrastructure upgrades, microgrid systems and electric vehicle (EV) charging installations at Department of Transportation highway and airport facilities across the islands. Key locations include NEVI EV charging sites on Maui, Oahu, Kauai and Hawaii Island. Additional highway improvements are located throughout Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, Kauai and Hawaii Island. The program advances Hawaii’s electrification and sustainability goals by constructing EV infrastructure and modernizing transportation facilities.

Hensel Phelps is delivering these projects through a design-build approach in partnership with Group 70, Stantec and Wasa Electrical Services, Inc., combining technical expertise and local knowledge to efficiently execute the project.
