California Veterans Home | Fresno

About the Project

Built to provide the state’s aging or disabled veterans with rehabilitative, residential, and medical care services in a home-like environment, the California Veterans Home | Fresno is, first and foremost, a place where California veterans come to live. It offers complete medical and dental care amidst the amenities of a small-town atmosphere. The goal of the home is to enable all residents to achieve their highest quality of life in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.

The 239,000-SF, 300-bed home is spread across 26.2 acres and includes a Central Services Building and five member communities. The two-story Central Services Building provides the residents with a central gathering place complete with a post office, general store, barber shop, and various medical service functions.
