BETHUNE-COOKMAN TEAM GIVES BACK

Wednesday August 26, 2015

The Hensel Phelps Bethune-Cookman Student Housing Project Team spent the day volunteering at the Volusia County domestic abuse facility in Daytona Beach, Florida. This generous project team provided the domestic abuse center with updated landscaping, sand and sod laying, removal of sidewalks, wire and wooden fence demolition, a new drop ceiling, demolition of bathroom ceilings, and updated air-conditioning unit openings around the facility. The BCU Project Team assisted the center’s facility manager, who handles all facility maintenance on his own in accomplishing each of these projects. This community service event was a warm Saturday well spent giving back to the local community. Thank you to all who participated!
