On January 23, 2026, the UW IEB design-build team accepted the honor at the Build Washington Awards Luncheon presented by AGC of Washington and Baker Tilly. This distinguished award recognizes projects that exhibit the highest standards of construction and safety excellence in Washington’s construction industry.

The building incorporates advanced energy-saving systems and was recently awarded LEED Gold certification, reinforcing UW’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
