San Jose International Airport Gates 29 & 30 Jetbridge Expansion

About the Project

The San Jose International Airport (SJC) Gates 29 & 30 Jetbridges project consisted of the construction of an elevated 380-foot fixed pedestrian boarding corridor connecting to Terminal B, two fixed passenger boarding bridges and two passenger boarding bridge rotundas. The project also included the conversion of unused space into a 1,700 sf seating area and hold room for the gates and additional supporting infrastructure, and integration with airport security and information systems.

This project required close coordination with airport and airline operations, as the site was adjacent to the active airfield. Additionally, the team met accelerated schedule commitments in order to be ready for the busy holiday flight season.
