About the Project

The Marriott Marquis convention center hotel project is a four-star, full-service hotel located in downtown Washington D.C., adjacent to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The 15-story above-grade building, capped with an atrium skylight, contains 1,125 guestrooms, 46 suites, and a concierge’s lounge located in the footprint of one city block. Located on the site is the historic American Federation of Labor (AFL) Building, which was renovated and integrated into the project’s program, providing a boutique feel to the exterior scheme of the hotel.
