About this Project
The University of Arizona’s Environment and Natural Resources Phase II (ENR II) Building was developed to advance interdisciplinary research and collaboration across the university’s earth science and environmental programs. Designed as a hub for innovation and discovery, the facility brings together researchers, educators and students from multiple disciplines within a shared academic environment.
The 190,000 SF facility houses the Institute for the Study of Planet Earth (ISPE), Geography and Regional Development (GRD), the School of Natural Resources, the Department of Atmospheric Sciences/Institute for Atmospheric Physics (ATMO) and the Office of Arid Lands Studies (OALS). The building includes research laboratories, faculty and administrative offices, classrooms, a 600-seat lecture hall and collaborative support spaces that encourage interaction and knowledge sharing among its occupants.
ENR II serves as a cornerstone of the University of Arizona’s commitment to environmental research, education and scientific collaboration, providing a modern, flexible environment that supports the evolving needs of its academic and research communities.
