About the Project

The $215 million, 498,151 SF, University of California, Irvine (UCI) Verano 8 Graduate Student Housing project is located on a 7.8-acre site and will feature a new complex of buildings ranging from four to six stories, that will house 1,050 residents in three different sized units. The purpose of Verano 8 is to address the need for affordable housing, satisfy graduate student housing guarantees, and secure UCI’s ability to provide services and residences to its growing graduate student population.
