The company’s Capitol Area East End, Block 225 project in Sacramento, California, not only became the first state-owned office building to achieve a LEED New Construction (NC) Gold rating from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), but it went on to perform so well that it was recently recognized as the first state-owned office building to receive a LEED Existing Building (EB) Platinum rating.
