Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB) Hangars, Task Order #1

Fort Bliss is comprised of approximately 1.1 million acres that extend across Texas and New Mexico, and is the second largest installation and the largest training installation for the Army. Five Aviation Battalions have relocated to Fort Bliss. To facilitate these Battalions, Task Orders have been awarded to construct a total of five aircraft hangars. These facilities support both operations and maintenance activities for over 100 Chinook, Blackhawk, and Apache helicopters included within the battalions. The Assault Battalion hangar is a high bay hangar with six maintenance bays to house six UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters, with an adjacent two-story, 55,642 SF administrative/shop area.
