Southern California District

Hensel Phelps has been active in California since 1967 and opened its Southern California District Office in 1989. Headquartered in Irvine, California, the district covers local projects as well as contracts in Nevada and Utah.

Typical for Hensel Phelps, this District does not specialize in any one particular field. Our experience includes hospitality, office, medical, detention, transportation, education, industrial, and public assembly. The Southern California District continues to build upon past successes on design-build and design-assist projects, while providing customers with complete preconstruction services.

Vice President Cuyler McGinley provides the leadership for this district and holds the ultimate responsibility for the district’s construction and procurement activities. The estimating staff provides all conceptual and competitive bids, and assists the project managers on all preconstruction services.
