Craft Training

Craft training has always been an essential part of Hensel Phelps' culture. Today, that emphasis is greater than it has ever been. Two full-time Craft Training Coordinators oversee a combination of on-site skills training, mentoring, workshops conducted by visiting experts, and coursework at community centers for higher education. All employees, including staff, management, and craftspeople, are expected to take part in company-sponsored training, a key element in career development. To carry this mainstay philosophy even further, as an approved sponsor candidate with the National Center For Construction Education and Research (NCCER), Hensel Phelps is providing opportunities for today's youth by sponsoring fundamental construction classes and workshops.
